Security
The Martian Republic app generates and stores your private keys locally on your device. Your 12-word seed phrase is displayed once during wallet creation and is never transmitted to any server. Write it down and store it securely — it is the only way to recover your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.
The app communicates with the Marscoin network and IPFS for blockchain operations and content storage. All governance transactions (votes, attestations, proposals) are signed locally with your private key before being broadcast.
